Motorola KRZR K1 Review

motorola krzr k1 review Rating: 7.5 / 10

Some of the cell phones on the market are so beautiful and sleek, you can't help but be drawn to them. The Motorola KRZR K1 is a perfect example of the thin flip phone that will fit easily in any purse or pocket without having the appearance of bulk and awkwardness. While the Motorola KRZR K1 has a list of features that would make any consumer salivate, appearances can be deceiving.

Starting with the basics, the Motorola KRZR K1 phone has the visual appeal of a razor phone with a color screen externally as well as the normal internal visual screen. There is a capability of 20 Mbytes of memory which can also be transferred to a swappable memory card. If there is ever a spontaneous moment that needs to be captured, this inventive cell phone not only has a camera but it comes with digital zoom and a flash. You can enhance your photos by giving them special effects and you can also choose to take up to five minutes of video. If listening to music is what you want the Motorola KRZR K1 has that as well. There are preloaded games, a calendar, speakerphone and the ability to connect to four bands automatically allowing you to talk worldwide without interference.

The benefits to this phone are the added little extras that other phones may not have quite yet. For instance, there is picture caller ID and a flight mode just in case you forget to turn it off. Also, if you forget your charger but need your phone on, the phone has 300 hours of standby that is available. Lastly, there is a voice activation system that allows you to dial calls and give your phone demands by only using your voice. These features are what permit this phone stay above many other cell phones in use, but there are disadvantages that should be examined in order to provide a balanced decision.

Complaints concerning the KRZR K1 phone range from the simplest to the most complex. The phone seems to be notorious for sensitivity and the front LCD screen cracks easily. The phones seem to be temperamental with complaints about the screen saver not working and the screens going blank altogether. People have expressed displeasure over the camera taking fuzzy shots and the voice activation system not working properly. Some customers had complaints about fingerprints being extremely visible while others said that the ringer speaker on the phone is poorly placed (if the phone is under a cushion or in a purse, it is inaudible).

The Motorola KRZR K1 phone is aesthetically appealing if you are a phone lover and you want to seem fashionable when you make a call. The cost of the phones will range depending on where you buy them. Ebay is a great place to buy cell phones and this particular model is available with a Buy Now option of $207.00. Talk to your friends, research online and make an informed decision before you purchase this type of cell phone.
